Point Prevention
Effective yet humane prevention of perching
of pigeons and seagulls
These systems work by
displaying upward pointing 'spikes', usually made of
stainless steel with a plastic base, that make it uncomfortable
or impossible for birds to land there. They are installed
in 12-inch strips, with the aid of silicone adhesive
or suitable stainless steel fixings.
Since UK law protects all wild birds, the spikes are
blunted to prevent the birds from injuring themselves.
Point systems work best when installed in buildings
suffering 'low to medium roosting pressure', as heavily
populated flocks will attempt to break down this system.

Birds often cause problems in parts of buildings with
restricted access – this is no problem for us
